Notary Service

The Toledo Public Library has a certified notary public on staff. Signers are required to have a current, valid photo identification. You must provide your own witnesses if your document requires an additional witness signature. Any witnesses required to sign a document must be present with valid photo identification. Library staff may not serve at witnesses. 

We recommend calling the library in advance, to ensure that a notary will be available when you arrive. Notaries reserve the right to refuse to notarize any documents, if they do not feel that all necessary criteria have been met.
